Secret Red Door Thai Peanut Stir Fry Sauce

You'll want to tell everyone about the roasted peanuts, garlic, chilies and rice vinegar in this deliciously smooth sauce.

Stir fry sauce isn't just for stir frying. Here are a few other ideas we've picked up along the way:

Thai Lettuce Wedges

Cut a head of iceberg lettuce into quarters, leaving the stem intact. Submerge the wedges in cold water for 10-12 minutes. Remove the lettuce from the water, drain well and trim off the core. Place on chilled salad plates, top with cherry tomato halves, a drizzle of Thai Peanut Sauce and sprinkle with fresh bean sprouts.

Broiled Seafood Sauce

Brush a piece of salmon, cod or another favorite fish with Thai Peanut Sauce and place on a bed of sautéed onions and carrots. Bake the fish until almost done, turn the oven to broil and finish cooking for a golden crust.

Bangkok Chicken Pizza

Brush a pre-made crust with a generous portion of Thai Peanut Sauce. Next, layer sliced Roma tomatoes and grilled and chopped chicken. Bake in a hot oven until the tomatoes begin to "melt." Sprinkle with a handful of fresh cilantro and green onions and bake for a few more minutes.

Chicken Salad

Roast or grill boneless, skinless chicken breast and allow to cool completely. Cut the chicken in small cubes and toss with mango, purple onion and a handful of fresh cilantro leaves. Dress to taste with Thai Peanut Sauce and serve on a poppy seed bun with butter lettuce leaves.

Crudité Sauce

Neatly arrange thick slices of red and yellow bell peppers, baby carrots, jicama sticks, blanched broccoli, sugar snap peas and long green scallions on a platter around a large bowl of Thai Peanut Sauce in the center for dipping. Sprinkle the veggies with exotic sea salt before serving.
