Dueling Songbirds Sweet and Sour with Guava Stir Fry Sauce

This delicious blend of sweet pink guavas, tart tamarind and poppy seeds will make any dish sing.

Stir fry sauce isn't just for stir frying. Here are a few other ideas we've picked up along the way:

Sweet & Sour Hot Wings

Bake chicken wings in the oven until the meat is cooked and the skin is crispy. Pour Guava Sweet & Sour Sauce in a large skillet and heat until bubbling. Add the crispy chicken wings and toss to coat. Garnish with crushed salty cocktail peanuts and chili flakes.

Spinach Salad Dressing

Toss baby spinach with mandarin oranges, crisp bacon, hard-boiled egg and toasted almond slices. Heat a generous portion of Guava Sweet & Sour Sauce in a skillet until hot. Dress the cool salad with the hot dressing just before serving.

Roasted Pork Tenderloin

Sear a whole pork tenderloin on all sides in a heavy skillet with a little oil. Once the tenderloin is seared, remove it from the skillet and drain. Put the pork back in the skillet, brush generously with Guava Sweet & Sour Sauce and place in a preheated 300°F oven for a long, slow roast – about 20-25 minutes. Let the meat cool for 10 minutes on a cutting board, loosely tented with foil to keep it warm, before slicing. Spoon a little of the pan juices over each slice.

Asian Appetizer Dipping Sauce

Use Guava Sweet & Sour Sauce as a quick and easy dipping sauce for spring rolls, pot stickers, sui mai dumplings and fried wontons.
